Policemen of Kirovohrad region were trained in stopping bleeding

Knowing how to stop bleeding can be vital for police officers, as their profession involves frequent high-risk situations. For example, police officers may encounter injuries at a crime scene or while on duty.

According to studies conducted in the United States and Canada, knowledge of providing aid to stop bleeding can save the lives of 30 to 40% of police officers who are injured in technical accidents and other similar situations. In the case of disasters such as attacks on schools and office buildings, this knowledge can save more than one life.

In addition, knowledge of first aid can also be useful for law enforcement officers at crime scenes where there may be casualties, extreme and unexpected circumstances, especially when medical aid is delayed. Even in non-emergency situations, knowledge of first aid to stop bleeding can help police officers protect themselves from injury and keep their surroundings safe.

It is important to provide relevant knowledge to as many police officers as possible. After all, it will be useful to them in the performance of their official duties.

To conduct trainings, the NGO “Strategy of the Future” invited very cool and certified trainers from Kyiv (educational and training center “Breath of Life”), who are already known to the participants of previous projects. Upon completion of training, all participants received two certificates.
