In June 2023, the “Strategy of the Future” NGO, with the support of UNDP and in cooperation with the Bobrynetsk City Council, will begin the process of creating and equipping a rehabilitation department on the basis of the Bobrynetsk Hospital by providing a complex of medical and psychological services to restore the health and well-being of people with disabilities due to illnesses, injuries and surgical interventions.
During the implementation of the project, medical equipment and technical means for the work of the rehabilitation department will be purchased, as well as energy-saving technologies to ensure uninterrupted operation of the department and saving energy resources, which is an important aspect in the conditions of the ongoing war.
Already in the updated department, everyone who needs help will be able to undergo a rehabilitation course and receive psychological support.
Also, within the framework of the project, a number of seminars and trainings on psychological assistance for medical personnel will be held with the involvement of a military certified psychologist, and an information campaign will be organized for residents of Ketrysanivska, Kompaniivska, Ustinivska, Yelanetska, Bratska, Vozsiatska, and Voznesenska communities about the services and activities of rehabilitation departments.
The project “Creation of a rehabilitation department for persons with disabilities/injuries caused by the war on the basis of the Bobrynetsk Hospital” of the Bobrynetsk City Council is implemented by the NGO “Strategy of the Future” with the support of the UNDP within the framework of the project “Support for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities caused by the war” and with financing governments of the Republic of Korea and Germany.
