Today, April 4, our partner communities of Pervozvanivska and Znamyanska received support for the development of youth councils, youth public organizations in their communities, namely laptops and software.
Youth is a key component of the community, which should have the opportunity to contribute to the process of decision-making and implementation of projects. Youth councils in communities create favorable conditions for the exchange of ideas and opinions of young people with local self-government bodies, which makes it possible to determine the needs of young people in various spheres of life and take them into account when forming a community development strategy.
Most youth initiatives are usually oriented towards the social sphere, so supporting youth councils and public associations can contribute to improving the level of safety, social integration, cultural development and the development of sports life, which ensures social stability. Also, with the help of youth initiatives, the problem of emigration of young people from the regions in search of work and opportunities for personal development can be solved.
Therefore, the support of youth councils and public organizations is an important factor for improving public communications with local self-government bodies, providing a platform for discussing the needs and ideas of young people and their implementation through implementation of projects that raise the standard of living of residents and diversify the development of the region.
The NGO “Strategy of the Future” expresses its gratitude to the heads of communities and their teams for supporting youth initiatives.
The project was implemented within the framework of the USAID “Dream and Act” youth program and HP Inc. and Microsoft Thank you to the National Project “Spivdiya Note” for the opportunity to present small, but such important tools for development to young residents of the communities of Kirovohrad Oblast.
The project was implemented within the framework of the USAID youth program “Dream and Act”, implemented by the IREX organization in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian volunteer platform “SpivDiya”, with the support of the “Ukrainian Educational Platform” charity organization, as well as HP Inc. and Microsoft, who provided laptops and licensed software.
